I grew up reading the Lorax by Dr zuess with my family, it was great to bring the story back in to focus and share it with my own chidren by watching the movie aswell.

What an amazing film for young and old. The animation (CGI?) is by far the best I have seen to date and the message is so relevant to today. Loved it.

love the book. Movie is a huge disappointment and why do they always put songs in kids movies. Most kids find the singing boring.

I thought this was gong to be a movie for very small children and steeled myself to be bored. I was far from it. Yes, it's very much a kid movie, but had a great moral to the story. We as humans are not happy until we destroy everything. Even when we get to the point when there is only one of something left, someone will want to kill it and benefit from it. I loved the trees, they were awesome. It was lovely to watch the transformation of the people. Great, light entertainment.

not the best one. if you've seen "wall-e" and "horton hears a who" then don't get this one.
it's about a boy who wants to find a tree. he gets a seed, and from then on you might as well be watching horton or wall-e.
the music is average, and probably was only in the film because the story is lacking.

Loved this!!! Really great moral to the story. Characters were not that deep. But kids love musicals, so this one was highly enjoyable :)

**Kid Friendly** Not that many quips for the adults ... but we did go out and buy it after to add to the kiddy collection If you compare it to other Dr suess it doesn't really compare to cat in the hat etc ...

A good movie. Often these remakes of favourite books are disappointing & distracted in ridiculous plots & obscure tangents, however this one is well done. It's entertaining, well paced & still retains it'simportant message in a modern way.

Brilliant...absolutely loved it. Watched it with my 5 year old & 2.5 year old boys - who were captivated right through out. Cute, colouful and funny - with a good message. As my five year old said "that was a really nice movie, mum" - Good one for the adults too - I thought it was great.

I just loved this movie and watch it twice with different sets of grandkids. It is a heartwarming story with a real message behind it which they all got regardless of age. Highly recommended

Good movie for kids , beautiful visuals and animation. Not sure as an adaptation of the book ... the environmental message was there but felt washed down by the cuteness, caricatures ...

We loved it, the main themes were all there but with some nice updates. We liked the songs and the animals were cuuuuuute, but we (ages 9, 33 and 63) were a bit weirded out by a 12 year old being in love. Good family movie.

Still not sure how I feel about my all-time favourite Dr Seuss story being expanded into a musical romantic comedy but it was nice to see the Lorax's world come to life. My 4 year-old really loved it though, even though he constantly questioned stuff that wasn't in the book.
