I really liked this film. Well acted and believable. It didn't lose anything in the subtitling.

Well directed and beautifully filmed, but I found the story a bit hard to get into. It perhaps lost a bit of meaning due to the subtitling.

Enjoyable movie about family life in a conservative Leccan family. The performances are excellent and even though the movie has a few strange twists and turns, it's totally enjoyable to watch. Light hearted, fun and very clever.

Beautiful film, funny, moving and well shot. It is subtitled in English so may not be for everyone. The dialogue moves quickly so can be challenging to keep up with subtitles. Regardless, well worth watching. Loved this movie and highly recommend.

Loose Cannons is an much underrated film. The plot is totally absorbing, if a little obscure at times, while production values and performances are first class. Obviously the theme is dominated by gay issues but that doesn't interfere with character development, nor does it detract from their ordinary humanness. For the two brothers being gay is secondary to their relationship with their family and associates.

This is a heart-warming bitter sweet look into the complexities of a family with two closeted gay brothers, from a uniquely Italian perspective. Great performances all round with an engaging soundtrack. Some might find the pace a little slow-going, but it's all part of the joy of watching this quiet little gem.
