Sitting in a strip club - the only woman there with her shirt on - Geralyn Lucas tries to blend in. She's come to make the biggest decision of her life - whether or not to get a mastectomy. Having recently graduated from journalism school and landed her dream job at 20/20, the last thing 27-year-old Geralyn expects to hear is a breast cancer diagnosis.

Trying to find herself, while losing her vibrancy and her looks, Geralyn discovers a story of self-acceptance by relying on her courage, her humor and, of course, her red lipstick.

I thought Lipstick was quite clever in the way it exposed Geralyn's journey through breast cancer - maybe it could be issued to all women diagnosed to help them understand how others feel. Having lost close friends to breast cancer I felt the journey was quite real.

Ok film, nothing much new covered here. A woman's film, the focus on a female's sense of worth due to her appearance was a bit dull.

Very thought provoking movie. Makes you think about what you would do in the same situation. The strength of Geralyn was amazing and the love of her family and friends helped her through.
