Kouichi dreams of being a hero, but is a punching bag for bullies. He flatlines when the mysteriously naked Emi crash-lands, thrusting Kouichi into an intergalactic showdown between rival races of regenerating Machinas. In a deathbed partnership with the Linebarrel mecha, he gains the strength to stand up to his tormentors, only this new power has gone to his head. Kouichi has much to learn about being a true Hero of Justice.
