Holly Berenson (Katherine Heigl) is an up-and-coming caterer and Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) is a promising network sports director. After a disastrous first date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their god-daughter, Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Messer are forced to put their differences aside. Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they'll have to find some common ground while living under one roof.

loved it ,a lesson to be learnt ,never leave anything to chance ,life is short and you should live it to the full , had me going in some places needed the tissues but i might be more sensitive than some , and it all ended well , goes to show you can fall in love with the person you least expect

When you set your sights low -- I mean trashy Hollywood rom-com low -- its hard to be disappointed. So, having had this expectation, when you find yourself fast-forwarding and eventually switching off before the finale (I assume there is one), you know you're watching a really crappy movie.
If you're thinking, "that looks like a nice, 'lite' comedy", I suggest you think twice.
This movie is painful. One star, barely.

Well, completely predictable and completely unbelievable but for all that I didn't mind it at all. Maybe it was looking at Josh Duhamel that allowed me to enjoy it. Katherine Heigl is a beautiful woman who always plays characters who are a complete pain in the bottom and usually totally neurotic to boot. They never seem to have any redeeming features but she always gets her man - go figure!

This movie was not at like I expected it to be. It was very moving, heartbreaking and at times hilarious. We really enjoyed watching it and would definitely recommend it others. Just make sure you have a box of tissues!

What a load of rubbish, unable to watch, had to turn it off a quarter of the way through due to the annoying male commentary telling in part what was being viewed.

Nothing to lighten the mood like a good quality comedy romance and this movie is certainly that.
Katherine and Josh are delicious and convincing as a (good looking) couple that hate each others guts, but of course, end up finding each others likeable qualities through adversity.
Well cast, well acted and entirely watchable. I do love a happy ending.

Being a new mum myself, I did find some of the scenes funny- maybe I have all that to look forward to!! Recommended!!

This is a normal rom/com, it had heart, fun and a predictable ending. This movie was very dark though (story wise), I would have liked the movie to have been more of a drama/rom/com and also maybe cut down 20mins. Good fun though. 3.5/5

A very, very good family movie (be it some what of a 'chick flix'), the story is a little predictable with the unprepared God Parents of a beautiful little girl raising her after her parent are killed in a car accident., the 'Mum' a very professionally driven woman and the 'Dad' a handsome ladies man make for some very funny situations. If you are looking for a fun light movie this is a definate winner for the family.

I actually quite enjoyed this film. I did get a little frustrated in parts over the stupid "parenting" things the pair first did but as the film progressed it became more "meaty". Gives any parent a lot to think about in the even of their death with some laughs along the way. I couldn't watch Life As We Know It twice but it's quite good for a lazy afternoon.
