Plenty of plot twists and action, but you won't be able to follow if you're twiddling on the web at the same time.

A very good movie requires a bit of concentration as the plots are a bit convoluted . Recommended

Good British gangster movies bit confusing at times had to use the rewind sometimes to work out who was who in the zoo, lot of foul language as expected. Not as good as Lock stock or Snatch. Average night's entertainment for blokes!

Really good movie. Heaps of twists and turns. One of Daniel Craig's best movies other than the Bond Flicks. Glad I added this one to my cue.

Excellent movie, good story though you need to concentrate or you could lose track of who is who, the camera work is wonderful, it's like a work of art. Daniel Craig is perfect and has a great support cast. Well worth watching two or three times.

Had to have this up very loud to hear some of the dialogue spoken softly other times had to turn it down very low. Also due to music playing in the movie while people were talking made it a bit hard to follow. Exessive swearing. Had potential as the other reviews said its not Lock Stock or Snatch quality.

If you like Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and similar Brit films, you will enjoy Layer Cake. Daniel Craig is terrific in the lead role.

Daniel Craig is superb. This movie is fast paced and at times a little confusing if you don't keep up with the character names, but the ride into the drug world is fascinating.

This is the movie where I came out of the theatre and said to my companion, if Daniel Craig is not the next James Bond then the producers have rocks in their head.

You need to have your wits about you watching this film as it is a little hard to follow. Once you have your head around what is happening, not a bad film.

Very entertaining. By the producer of Snatch, it has the style of Guy Ritchies films but darker and without a lot of the humour.

If you are looking for another Lock Stock, Snatch, Gangster Number 1 or Love Honor & Obey then be wary about Layer Cake. This film falls short of the good Gangster films that have been coming out of Britain and is quite dull. Not even the ending saves it. It had the ingredients but something was off.

Not a bad movie. It's a bit confusing to follow as it chops and changes between events and characters a fair bit. Keep the remote control handy as I had to keep turning the volume up and down to hear what the people were saying.

Ever wonder if crime pays? after watching this film you will be happy with a nine to five to pay the bills being a middle or lower class Jo Citizen, and still don't know who your so called colleagues/friends really are. Then again, doing it hard and fast might tickle your fancy :) Good movie to reflect on ones life if you do have an alternative income source or not. Recommended.

Good acting, but too much irrelevant profanity and yelling; script a bit boring; can't compare with lock, stock or snatch
