so so boring. what was Gus thinking. The story line was weak - there was no music and visually boring to look at. Don't bother.

I wanted to like this but, unfortunately, it was just boring. I realise GVS probably wanted to put the viewer in the state of mind "Kurt" was in - all aimless, drug-addled meandering, blurring the real with the imaginary, etc - but it just doesn't work.

A great film from Gus Van Sant and anyone who might wonder what the last days of Kurt Cobain might have been like. Sure it's dark but I don't think Kurt's last days were happy. If you liked films like My Own Private Idaho you'll like this film.

This dirgelike movie is extremely hard to stay focused on, especially with shots that linger on nothing for up to five minutes. Ostensibly a veiled essay on Kurt Cobains state of mind just prior to his death, this movie is a pretentious dollop of nothingness.

Fictionalised account of the last day/s of KCobain. A 2long portrayal of a mentally/medically unwell individual. End credits acknowledge that movie is a fictionalised account. A sad, mad but unfort bad movie.

I really don't know how anyone could rate this 4 stars. There was no music, no story, just a waste of a night's viewing, so dull i just wished he would end his miserable life sooner. Not worth the effort. I was so looking forward to the movie too.
