Super animation, highly entertaining,very funny,loved it !!!
Great movie for both kids and adults
Very good. Funny and entertaining.
Not disappointed with the second installment every bit as good as the first one.
Just as good as the first movie. Well worth watching!
Good sequel,fun family movie
had a fun time viewing this movie and feel it is worth watching and hope to see a number 3 soon.
kung fu panda 2 was a great film the story line was excellent and it was full of action i think its better than number 1 and hope they make number 3
I didn't watch this film and really don't understand how I came to order it.
It was visually very entertaining and the ending of course opens up for Kung Fu Panda 3. Great voice cast. One for adults and kids.
Comedy:
Never as good as the first one, some moments where the comedy hangs on flimsy moments of Jack Black bravado.
Technical:
Overall animation good, with good facial expression sets for the characters.
Suitability:
Seems just a bit soon for my eldest at 5 years old, but would be too simple once she gets older, so to me a small window of age suitability.
Didn't find that to be so much the case for the first Kung Fu Panda movie
better than the 1st one I thought
My boy loved this movie. A fun family movie
Cute movie with very much the same feel as the first one.
Kids loved it - they watch it over and over again before I sent it back - even took it in the car.
Unexpectedly, this sequel is as good as the first!
Disappointing! boring and slow... kids will love the moving colours.
big kid maybe but i loved this one :-)
Having watched the movie and read a number of the other reviews, I think some people go overboard with their reviews. Don't try to analyse the plot, just watch it as a good, clean animated movie that is fun for kids and adults of all ages.
As good as the first and manages to keep it fresh with a new direction and plenty of kid rousing action.
A markedly weaker sequel to the original, which was okay at best; the blatant merchandising characterisation ruined much of the film that had potential.
Probably better than the first one
My whole family loved it! Better than the first movie (which we loved as well). More action, funnier... My 4 year old and my 2 year old watched it more than 20 x!
i enjoyed it, didn't hold my three yr olds attention for long though
Worth watching. However, film-makers sometimes try to fit too many sub-plots into a movie: they forget that this type of movie is pitched towards children and adults like me who just want to watch something that is fun and pure escapism. Kung Fu Panda 2 is intrinsically a good fun movie that has been corrupted by jingoists trying to push just one more parable or lesson down our throats. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, although I had to pause it at times to explain what was going on.
good but... not as good as 1
Storyline may be a bit weak, but the usual laughs and I found it funny. The fact that a panda could have a goose for a father and the panda can't see anything wrong with that is a pure lesson in acceptance for us all. Loved it.
as exciting as part one in its own way
soooo cool that I watch it as ernestly as my kids.
Unlike the sequel to Cars, I think this outshone the first one. Animation was great. Good family entertainment
I dare say better than the first.
Just can't beat the first one. Some entertaining bits. Doesn't work as a sequel as it puts Po as an awkward kung-fu warrior and just gets tiring watching him bumble through fight after fight..
Once again a sequal that attempts to take the story to a higher level but falls short. Animation is good, but overall story fails to deliver the killer blow that the Original did.
Worth watching but will not make you want to watch it over and over like the first does.
OK for kids only. It is again one of Jack Blacks finest bad acting jobs and he isn't even on the screen! Some funny jokes from other parts, but generally not that good overall.
Funny and entertaining...the humour is surprisingly suitable for all ages as I laugh louder than my 4 y.o daughter...
As a big animation fan, this was an awesome movie from script to execution. In my opinion, better than the first movie and funnier by a country mile.
Absolutely loved it, up there in my top 10 animated movies
Not as fun as the first but equally as good.
So much funnier than the orig -
Totally tolerable to watch w your kids
Awesome in. 3D
Too much action - it put me to sleep
A darker film then the first. Lacks charm.
liked the first one more. Did enjoy this one.
We loved this sequel, not better not worse, more of the same, but totally enjoyed it. Funny and clever
excellent school holiday flick
not a fan of cross-culture comedy (ie. shi-fu translated is already "master" so master shifu is technically "master master"). touching at times about family-related issues, however, writing/dialogue could be improved. Problem with movies nowadays, especially animation, that focuses and uses too many "celebrity" voices to push it rather than having decent voice actors and corresponding storylines.
Great movie that suits all ages, very entertaining, with a storyline that delivers. I would reccomend this movie to anyone!
As good as the first kung fu panda, very good
Definitely thought this was better than the first one. The vocal talent of James Hong who plays Panda's father Mr Ping (The Goose) was the standout for me.
kung fu panda is the man. if u liked the first 1 you will love this. hes funny as hell and still action packed. my children absolutely loved it. cant wait for a KFP3.
Fantastic, kids loved this movie
A better film than the first one, with a very moving story, beautifully animated, with a deliciously evil antagonist.
Great movie for Kids and a great laugh. But Kung Fu Panda is better then this one
Not as good as the first movie but still definitely worth watching. Fills in the gaps nicely about Panda's past, great movie for the whole family.
Boisterous fun, worthy sequel. Great Saturday night family movie.
Really good sequal, a little slow to start but answers all the questions about Poh's origins and how he comes to have a goose for a father. Great voice actors and the visuals are stunning. Great for kids and parents.
great movie - quite a bit darker than Number one maybe best to watch it first before letting the kids see it
The Kung Fu Panda movies have the great mix of action and comedy. There is enough action going on that will keep younger audiences entertained, and the writing and dialogue will keep everyone else laughing. Jack Black epitomises Po, and it is worth watching the extras to see his work voicing the film. Equally, James Hing as his adoptive Dad is terrific as well. Lots of fun, stay tuned for Kung Fu Panda 3.
great viewing................ again, (follow-on from 1st instalment). Very well done. Excellent entertainment for whole family. Recomended viewing
Loved the first movie. But this one seemed to lack that same feel. Maybe it is just Jack Black. Playing the same character regardless of the movie is a bit tedious. Didn't find the bad guy that interesting. Overall though not a bad movie. Definitely one kids will enjoy immensely.
Great movie that the whole family enjoyed, the kids watched this one twice and said they liked it even better than the first one.
If you enjoyed the 1st movie you'll enjoy this movie. Great family movie for young and old. We all enjoyed it and again there were lots of laughs.
