Slobby Ben and up and coming career girl Alison meet at a bar, and end up having a one night stand. Eight weeks later, Ben is shocked when Alison meets him and reveals that she is pregnant. Despite having little in common, the two decide that they have to at least try to make some kind of relationship work for the baby's sake.

Okay, but mostly I was dissapointed with the characters. They all seemed to be immature and selfish. There wasn't much growth and buggar all story. I'm not a Seth Rogan fan - he's a bit grubby.

Unbelievable (would Katherine Heigl REALLY hook up with an unattractive moron?), idiotic (the lines are totally banal and sex-obsessed) and - most unforgivable of all - UNFUNNY. I don't knwo if it improved, but I turned it off after 20 minutes without a smile, let alone a laugh.

Whilst there were some funny moments, and I do like Katherine Heigel. I didn't watch to the end, as I couldn't stand the huge amounts of unneccessary swearing throughout. Surprised Katherine Heigel would take a part in such a poor movie to be honest.

When it suggests 'strong coarse language' it really means it. Totally over the top with the swearing and not necessary. Katherine Heigl does a good job and you can see her acting skills coming through in the early days, but I would have survived fine w/out seeing this.

Knocked Up I thought this movie was quite silly with a very large amount of a needed swearing. So that made me not even finish watching it. Even though it is meant for younger people watcg out for the swearing before you hire.

this is a truly rotten film. i thought it could be remotely amusing, light hearted, in the spirit of old school/animal house - however the dialogue is lacking and intelligence, the explicit language is appallingly unnecessary, and the story, truly unbelievable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I didn't even get to the end of this waste of time.

This is film that should never have worked, but somehow it does - I think only because the leads and other actors are so good they manage to pull off the comedy that should never have been made, and yes it is pretty hilarious.

A semi mature teen flick. A few good laughs and one liners. Some great argument scenes but ultimately the film relies a little too much on swearing - rather then wit. However if your into pot, fart and abortion jokes this film is a winner.

What can I say???? This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The concept for the film was quite good and had potential to be a humourous and enjoyable film.....but unfortunately the dialogue and character develoment were aweful and left em looking at my watch wondering when the torture was going end. This is an insult to any normal person's intelligence....I actually felt dumber as a result of watching this movie :(

Drama or comedy, the movie nearly gets both but seems to miss them equally as well. It has some humerous moments, some touching moments, but on the whole seems confused. It's cynicism about relationships is juxtaposed with an unrealistic optimism about matches that simply aren't believable. Individual performances were good, I just felt the script missed the mark but was close to being really good.

Katherine Heigl is a really great comic actress and Seth Rogen is the most unlikely leading man, but I even found him a little cute by the end of the movie!

I could accept that the lazy layabouts would talk as they did, but the georgeous leading lady should only have used the bad language during labour. It would, then, have been hilarious.
