AN old Japanese guy helps a kid beat the bully and then the old men takes 5 of them at once a good move good lessons for the kids

Wax on wax off. Far more impact than the horrible recent version. My daughter has now seen both and prefers this one too. Classic.

As good as I remember it, a touch of innocence, unadultured Hollywood, unlike today, they use they right aged actors, no sex, no swearing, just a good script of a boy's struggle for acceptance.

I thought after not having watched this for about 10 years, I would think it lame. It was great to watch again, and again, and again. Wonderful characters and good (albeit done to formula) story.
