Probably the peak of Disney's animation.
The perfect blend of story. characterisation and music.
It is an adaptation of Kipling's tale of the boy who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. When Sher Khan, the tiger who hates and fears man, demands the wolves hand him over, the boy is taken into the care of Baloo the bear and Baghera the panther to be taught the ways of the jungle.
He survives the jungle and Sher Khan to eventually be united with his own people.
An eternal favourite that has been beautifully restored. Forget the Disney's Junglebook 2, there is none better than the original.
