Sorry - I really don't remember ordering this movie.
I seem to recall not liking this very. If I had, I'm sure I'd remember it better.
I wouldn't really say the movie is a “memorizing mindblower” or “claustrophobic nightmare”. I found it a bit confusing/strange and not really scary at all. I quite like the relationship between the main character and the young girl, especially towards the end.
I thought this a surprisingly good movie, considering I'd never heard of it.
I thought they could have used a different main actor but the rest of the cast were fine.
I'd watch it again in the future.
absolute confusing and a waste of time, bacwards and forwards and all these well known actors taking part, it's the money that they get, I'ts work I suppose.
This is a brilliant movie. Loved it from the start.
Adrian Brody seriously stole this movie, you can FEEL his pain, and even though I can't stand Keira Knightley (and therefore was very hesitant to even see this movie) it's worth the watch.
Very very very odd. Would never recommend it.
Highly enjoyable, great movie
Difficult to rate this movie. The acting was senstational, especially Adrien Brody's performance, however the story was fairly weak.
Well worth watching if you are interested in time-travelling, alternate reality, dreamstate thrillers. Reminded me a little bit like one of Tim Robbin's earlier movies Jacobs Ladder.
What is actually a very simple story is turned into a fantastic and interesting film. Brody is brilliant as usual playing a man who has died before and is believed to be crazy. The Jacket concept is scary and fascinating. Kiera Knightley is average with an even more average American accent. Very enjoyable film.
First part hour was too much for me, flashing scenes of memories, thoughts, made the storyline weak, tempted to turn it off, but then, the rest of the film was brilliant and a real nailbiter.
I was surprised that this was a straight to DVD movie. Its got a cracking cast, visually is very impressive and the story is not too bad to boot. In a nutshell, a left for dead soldier comes back to life and due to an unfortunate string of events ends up in a Mental Asylum. Some how the future meets the past and it's up to the soldier to work out why.
This story should have been told as a 2 or 3 part mini-series. There's just too much background and sub-plots to fit into a movie. Watching the deleted scenes helps a bit but the viewer is still left in the dark about too many things.
Fantastis thriller / horror, a great thinking movie with a great cast and a movie well worth watching.
Great thriller, action and thrills with a thinking plot and storyline, a must see for thriller fans.
Not my style but some may like it - a little bit too contrived for me
Interesting movie. Flashbacks and delusions?
Was'nt sure if this guy was alive and it was a dream? or what was happening or the significance of the title The Jacket until late in the movie.
I hope thats not the way mental illness was treated in the past?
Mind blowing.
I really liked this one, multi-dimensional and interesting concept.
The violence is extremely graphic and in very bad taste, with flashing scenes to burn the images in your head. Made us all sick to watch it- couldn't finish it.
We really appreciated the intenseness shown by Adrian Brody in this part, he's amazing. The storyline was original and fascinating and the unusual camera work was very well done. The mystery and drama continued right through to the end, and made you feel good that the impossible could be possible.
This movie is unbelievable....You'd be dissapointed if u missed it....
An intense psychological thriller with a great "mind thinking" storyline and an exceptional portrayal by Adrien Brody (as one has come to expect of his work). You really have to concentrate with this one to distinguish exactly what is happening in the time transportation scenes, but it is worth it. Anyone who enjoyed The Butterfly Effect will love this. Great movie!
