I was very happy to discover this hidden gem on Quikfliks as I had not known of it before. I did find it 'irresistibly' suspenseful and I enjoyed the great shots of Melbourne. I'm a big fan of Susan Sarandon and felt that she had a very worthy support cast in this film.

If you love suspense, Susan Sarandon and Sam Neil mixed with Australian accents.....you'll love this movie... unsure of who is the evil one and when you think you've got it all sorted, there's another twist!

An interesting movie, with a good storyline, but thought it could have been made heaps better. Emily Blunt and Susan Sarandon excellent. A little disappointing for me.

Fairly weak plot. Okay acting, but quite hard to get into the story and identify with the characters. The extra twist at the end was hamfisted. This movie left us unsatisfied.

ok Emily Blunt is HOT, even with the bung eye, the story is a bit absurd, i only watched cus it was set in Melbourne, although why that was is more of a mystery than the actual story, there is a twist but you'd be dumb not to see it coming and yes that is the girl from the snakes ad, should of put her in the editing suite "chop it dad" 3 stars is being kind

Very good actors very badly cast, it is long, slow, sententious and a chick flick in the worst possible sense of the term. The idea is good if simple and much of the photography is excellent, though the music and sound are extremely heavy handed. In a way it comes as a surprise that with so many things done so well it ended up as bad as it is.

Absolutely terrible despite all the great actors. Problem is a really clunky screenplay, which produces laughable 'scary' situations where Susan Sarandon puts on her best 'thinking' face....avoid.

This Australian film, set in Melbourne, portrays an intriguing relationship between a well adjusted couple. The arrival of an attractive female to the architects office in which the husbund works turns out to be the daughter of the artist wife. After some complications all ends well. After reading the reviews of this movie I quickly added it to my queue but I was a little disappointed. Yes the twists were unexpected, but the whole film was a little weird most of the way through. OK for people who dont mind something abit strange but dont rush it to the top of your list. I would class it as more of a thriller than a drama too.

Susan Sarandon plays her role magnificently yet it is one of those films that you want to shout at the main character - don't do that, don't go back to the house! Okay you know it won't help because they can't hear you yet you become involved. The film envelopes you and takes you on a journey of intrigue, a journey of pain and curiosity, it's like the book you can't put down. You're not sure what is going on and wonder why the main character wants to have anything more to do with the woman she accuses of trying to kill her. You discover a world of obsession, a sense of drive and determination and a part expertly executed by Susan Sarandon, she takes neurosis to a new level and you are hooked.

Diabolical. I was almost moved to write to Susan Sarandon and ask what on earth has possessed her to make this awful bloody movie. Of particular amusement was the 'evil daughters' miraculous recovery from third degree burns with not a scar in sight!! I was so very disappointed indeed. Worst movie I have seen for some time.

A reasonably predictable 'someone makes someone else look crazy' style thriller but there are some good plot twists and the acting is solid. Susan Sarandon is as always excellent but Sam Neill and Emily Blunt are also good. It's nice to see an Aussie movie that doesn't go out of its way to use every single stereotype about Australia you can cram into 90 minutes.
