I love this movie, as I Iove all the Indy movies. The older, but not so much wiser, Indy still kept me glued to my chair the first time I watched it. I've watched it many times now, and while it's not up there with the first three, its still in my favourites list.

This movie was so very disappointing sequel. The Movie was completely reliant on C.G. I. effects which by 2008 standards, were not particularly impressive. The average script was uninspiring . Indy (Harrison Ford) appeared disinterested by his return to the role and seriously, he really looks his age. The interaction between the movies other characters just didn't work well - take for instance, his relationship with his double or was that his triple? agent side-kick , he was forced and his relationship to his ex-girlfriend was totally whimpy and lacked emotion. The whole movie was lacking in viewer excitement - there was little action scenes and no really attachment was built with the characters. Just pure C.G.I. and a series of boringly repetitive fight scenes one after the other. Please Mr Speilberg - learn your lesson,.......... no more sequels!

This movie promised a lot, but really didn't deliver on that promise. It was quite boring until the last half of the movie. Not nearly as good as previous titles in the series.

I love Indian JONES, however one must be honest, he's getting old and they're the same old routines. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy watching the movie, it's a great one for the family however my kids enjoyed it more than I did.

It's like all the Indiana moves, fun, adventure, humour...except that he is old....and past it. It would have been better to pass the mantle to his son and have Indi become a bit part.

Oh Dr Jones. Time to hang up the whip. Love the humour and tongue in cheek references to the earlier movies but I just couldn't sit through this and turned it off after an hour. Memo to self - never watch anything with Shia Le Beouf in it. Cate what were you thinking with that really bad Russian accent? Woeful.

Once again, the original is always the best, but this was still a fun movie to watch. Great to see the return of Marion. Quite amusing to see the warehouse scene in which a storage box is damaged, revealing the Ark of the Covenant from the first film. Worth a look but glad I didn't pay to see it at the movies.

Enjoyed it, but not as much as the original movies. Found the chase scene in the middle far too long but otherwise the pace was fine. Wouldn't have minded quick flash back to remind me who Marion was because I had forgotten, although she looked familiar. Didn't think the alien concept was fully explained.

The thing with Indiana Jones movies is you have to suspend disbelief - and The Crystal Skull is no different! These films have always been tongue in cheek, and if you let yourself enjoy this one you will. It's thrilling and exciting, even if a bit silly in places. Cate Blanchett is a good addition as is Shia Lebouf.

This 4th IJ film did not not give me the x-factor experience. The previous films were much more refined and were very well engaging. This film however lacked a certain strength when it comes to true adventure and the plotting of the characters that direct the film in a seamless motion. I found this one a touch down from the other 3 because it was too soft for what it should of been. Its a reasonable film for mostly kids under 16 and for family's. But it's not a movie for the serious viewers that expect a higher standard of action/adventure.

My appreciation of this Indie movie was spoilt because the DVD kept 'freezing' in the player. It's a good story for the hardened Indie fan, but has the misfortune of travelling over a lot of ground already covered, an example being the car chase scene, which is very like other Indie movies. I though that more could have been made of the 'psychic warrior' aspect of the film. Cate Blanchett disappeared into the character, which is admittedly a comic book type of character, as they all are - a sign of a good actress. I always like Karen Allen, and the twist of Indie's son was good.

I've always really enjoyed the other films but I felt this one fell a bit short. The alien aspect of the storyline wasn't great and I felt the plot was a little hard to follow at time because it jumped ahead very quickly, i.e. Indy was making conclusions and working things out seemingly out of nowhere. However, if you enjoy A LOT of crazy action then this would be one for you. Good for a night when you don't want anything particularly serious and can chuckle at some physics-defying action sequences and rather corny acting.

Unbelievably bad! One set piece after another. I was looking at my watch most of the way through. Hard to believe such a great cast was so woefully misused. George Lucas clearly had a hand in the script as the dialogue was awful. If you're an Indy fan, remember the last three fondly and steer clear of this.

The sound track fires up??? you fidget with anticipation??? Then in 10 minutes the reality ??? this movie really lacks what made Raiders and Last Crusade so watchable. There is no real standout performance, maybe John Hurt treads water better than the others. But a tired Harrison Ford, precocious Shia LaBoeuf, laughable Cate Blanchett (but you don???t), and stilted Karen Allen drudge through what is a predictable plot, amateur CGI in places (the car chase by the ravine for example), cheesy dialogue (not repartee), and character sub-plots that just don???t work (Indi as Mutt???s father). In fact, it is probably on a par with Temple of Doom for entertainment, but it does leave you wondering what else you could have been doing for the past 117 minutes.

Okay not sure if I am being overly generous and letting my fandom stop me from panning this. My earliest cinema memory is Raiders of the lost ark, and like the South Park crew I could see Indie being raped by Lucas and Speilberg. Aliens have no place in an Indiana move but killer ants, and non stop action do. It's worth a look.

Worth watching yet disappointing - not as good as the originals, but now we expect more. Faithful to the original to a fault - they kept some things that could have been updated. Like when a man gets carried away by ants - just not convincing. Could have been a lot better if updated to reflect an audience that has changed. Too predictable. We all know what is going to happen - it is all so obvious.

Enjoyed this one, especially the inside of the mountain. Interesting use of mechanics and sand, etc. A bit too much of the shooting and fighting scenes. Cate Blanchett looked hard as nails, excellent acing. Good to see Karen Allen back in the scene and Shia playing their son. A good tie in of actors. I would recommend this if you have already seen the previous Indy movies.

Fine wines improve with age. Shame the same doesn't apply to George Lucas. Like the last 3 Star Wars movies, he's also butchered this, the latest Indy movie. Bad dialogue, Hammy acting and over the top special effects. Only watched it all the way through in the hope it improved....it didn't.

Sooo disappointing. Maybe, and just maybe. Indian Jones, to me, is about archeology and old Bible myths, not a master race of aliens and space ships. Cate's character is just bad, Shia is there to get some teens in the door and maybe John Hurt is there to try to add some cred to this poor effort. And the bit at the end with the hat in the church had us cringing.

Wasnt a bad movie but its such a shame it wasnt made 10 years ago. Harrison is certainly showing his age. The story line was a bit of a leap from the traditional ones so it ends up more X-Files than Indie.

I enjoyed this movie a lot, much better than anything that is R rated, swearing by the max making the movie unbearable. This had sufficient action to keep the interest, and mildly scary for the very young. One bonus, the sequels kept with the same star which many do not and they lose sight of the original storyline by going off on a tangent.

No point beating about the bush here. I have been a committed Indy fan for more than twenty years and I’m not going to stop now. It has been a long time since I have been as excited about a new release as this one. I don’t care what anyone says, I don’t see how anyone can be disappointed with Kingdom. Cold War conspiracies, rock’n’roll, giant snakes, Cate Blanchett as an evil Russian femme fatale, sword fights on jeeps racing through the jungle, a nuclear explosion, alien autopsies, quick sand, flying saucers, exploding heads and monkeys (lots). What more can a growing boy ask for? At the end of the amazing climatic sequence my five year old piped up: “Now, that really freaked me out!”. Indeed. The most fun you can legally have while sitting still in the dark.
