A delightful movie for anyone who likes classical music. It gives good coverage of Mozart's early compositions, as well as the masterpieces, and interesting commentary on the music by musicians and historians. What I like most was finding out details about his life.

Excellent documentary on the life of Mozart. I loved the things he said in his letters to his wife. I loved the musicians explaining how the music moved them. I love the music! Corrects the misinformation in the 'Amadeus' movie.

Excellent documentary film exploring the life and music of Mozart through the eyes and ears of expert musicians in modern Europe. Thoroughly recommended - for both story, presentation and music.

Quite a lot of background information, including letters to family members and his wife. Information I hadn't come across before. The overall feeling I came away with after viewing this DVD was continued awe for Mozarts wonderous gift. I have to admit, quite a number of times throughout the DVD I found myself drifting off into thoughts that had no relation to what I was watching. Bored could be the term I would use here. The bonus material, was a pleasant surprise. Mozart was a genius!

Shown on TV recently as part of the celebrations of Mozart's birth 250 years ago, the DVD is a reedit of 3 one hour episodes and it makes a brilliant 2 hour movie. This documantary features many of today's top conductors, instrumentalists, vocalists and music specialists and is a feast of music for any Mozart lover. Superb vewing with great quality sound.
