Ip Man 2 is a great sequal. Some people will not like the fact that there is no English (or any other) voiceover and this means that they will miss a great movie. If, like me, you prefer to see the play of emotion and voice in harmony with the character and you prefer to see and feel the actors giving vent to their passion and force of feeling for their character, then you will not miss the voiceover. Voiceovers are out of sync' with the action, emotions and events happening on the screen. Besides, if necessary, I can pause or rewind to catch some nuance that I missed.

this is the best martial arts film i have ever seen, its an epic story of non stop action and fighting and the only critism was i missed a qtr of the sub-titles due to them flashing past so fast, so with that in mind i rate it 9.5 outta 10,cheers,loved it..!

Loved the first film, loved this one too! The characterisation of the Westerners were rather over the top, but only a small mistake. Very well choreographed martial arts. And as always, the excellent Donnie Yen.

Unfortunately we have a low tolerance to movies with subtitles. Just adding this review in case you do as well. We did not watch it because we were not in the mood to have to read.
