Luis (Alain Chabat) is living the charmed life: successful, handsome, carefree and single. He dates whom he pleases and lives alone in the luxury of a man who has everything he wants. Luis' happy existence is threatened when his mother and five sisters decide it's time for him to marry. They are sick of doing his laundry, cooking his meals and waiting on him hand and foot - so they set him up on blind dates every night with all the single women that they know (and even some that they don't). After a month of exhausting bad dates, Luis hurriedly hatches a plan to find the perfect woman. Also starring Charlotte Gainsbourg.

" It was my ABBA period, or was it The Cure? " Hysterical, hilarious - I haven't laughed quite like that for a while. Chabat and Gainsbourg are an awesome pairing. Loved it instantly.

Just loved this little surprise. Hysterically funny scenes interspersed with understated romance. So many older guys attracting women so much younger than themselves suggests an older male hand behind this, living out a fantasy. Subtitles? What subtitles? Film was too entertaining to notice.

This is funny with an interfering family and the depths he goes to make them happy only to fall in love himself. It is good he finally stands up to them to make his own life. Reminds me of the tv series now, pls find my son a wife. lol

Hey, what does a Frenchman have to do to to be attractive? Alain Chabat is an accomplished comedian and actor and comes across as a very likeable character one can sympathise with. The story is simple but has enough twists to keep you laughing and worrying in turns. Being French, it's not in-your-face all the way - a nice Gallic film with good English sub-titling; good entertainment.

Enjoyable and entertaining movie, if a little unrealistic. The ending was predictable. Good French comedy

Enjoyed this one - quick french wit and interesting characters and play amongst each other and their lives. So nice to be stimulated and entertained - the Europeans are so beyind the Yanks .

Fairly tame story "with a french twist". Only son of big family who is happy with his single life is nagged into getting married by his mother and 5 sisters. He concocts his own "wife" with a predictible outcome. Some humour but not enough for me. He is not an appealing looking guy - why would a young attractive girl fall for him. They could have done the same story more successful with 2 people the same age!
