We loved it - really creative and unusual theme, with great acting and effects. Should not disappoint. Steve

Fantastic - absolutely loved it. I wondered how well it would compare to the book - and they did a fantastic job. Probably wise to read the book first - as otherwise it may all seem a little odd. Obviously, if you didn't like the book - then don't bother watching it.

I think whoever came up with this story is pretty twisted. A very weird imagining right down to the costuming and set design. I found it disturbing and yet, like a train wreck, I couldn't look away. Loved it.

I found this really disappointing. Not an original idea in sight. Think Running Man mets Big Brother meets Truman Show. The lead girl is good and Stanley Tucci has fun, but we all know the ending way before it happens. It takes an hour before the action even starts. 2 and a half stars.

Production was OK. Just found it to be over rated in advertising. Watchable but not the big thing the advertising proffered.

I thought THG was a great movie. This is one of those movies that you either want to see (in which case you might have already done so), or you don't care at all. I'd give it a go, even if you're not sure. I haven't read the books (yet), and I think I'll wait until all the movies are done to do so.

I was going to rate this film as 5 but changed my mind because it doesn't do the book justice and lacks some thing which I just can't define. It is worth a look and is very entertaining but read the book at leased twice and read between the lines I found that it had a lot to offer.
