Humpday (2009)

The acting is quite believable and real, but I didn't enjoy this at all.

Low budget adult comedy with quirky situations which made me laugh because of the splendid dialogues supported by pretty good actors. Filmed realistically I had the feeling I was with the characters. Excellent indie and definitely not for everyone explaining the bad reviews. This is no Jim Carey or Adam Sandler types of comedies and definitely not for children. Brilliant dialogues that carry the whole movie.

I really enjoyed this film. It epitomised what I love about American indie movies, so sparse, improvised and laid-back yet still highly entertaining. The realism of the film is incredible, it is more like a documentary than a movie; the scene where he prepares to tell his wife about his plans over dinner is almost too hard to watch! Loved it.

Don't waste one of your monthly rentals on this one. Fortunately, the disc died after an hour and I didn't have to watch the rest.

worst movie ever seen

Really poor movie. Don't get it out.

I liked it a lot! I think the reason it got so many bad reviews here was because the trailer makes it out to be a fast paced laugh-a-minute comedy, but it's actually more of a quirky mockumentary drama, with a focus on the characters and how they react to certain situations. Should be in the arthouse section. I loved the honest and realistic relationships portrayed in this film, and the whole porno thing is really not the point. The point is looking at how people, when confronted with an unusual challenge, find they are different to how they perceived themselves to be, and watching them confront their beliefs and fears.

Don't bother! Not at all what I expected.

Not the worst movie I have ever seen but close to it. Slow moving, poor quality cinematography like it has been filmed on a cheap camera you might have at home.

Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. I flicked through most of it as it was below a B grade movie. Waste of 20mins of my life.

'This was the absolute worst movie I've ever borrowed, What comedy? No budget poorly made, terrible storyl;ine and no warning about the drug use.

Zero budget American movie about 2 hetero guys who agree during a drunken night to make a gay porno movie and enter it into some local porn festival. Right, so straight off it isn't at all believable. But the performances are good and it does cover some male-male issues in an honest way. If only the script didn't sound so improvised all the way through.This was shown in the 2009 Sydney Film Festival but went straight to DVD for good reason.

I agree that this has to be one of the worst and boring movies I have ever seen. A total waste of time and money.

Hands down the worst movie i have ever seen. I was discusted by it!!! It should almost be rated R. Don't bother wasting your time!!

Couldn't even watch the first 30 minutes! The picture quality was that of a cheaply made movie, and the acting was no better!

This was the silliest move I have seen I thought it was going to be quite good but very disappointed my partner fell a sleep and couldn't believe how crap it was, not with watching, don't waste your time.
