Hugo is delightful. Well worth watching and the technical detail is amazing. A touching heartfelt story.

It was an okay movie but the storyline had a few too many lucky coinsidences to make it plausible. Also, it could probably have been done in half the time the movie goes for because even though it's not the most complicated story, the movie seems to take ages to tell it. It's only really enjoyable for those who appreciate movie making and even though I do, I found it a struggle to get through. Another thing that wasn't great about the movie were the actors, they didn't seem like they were doing anymore than reading a script except for the few times they exaggerated their actions ridiculously.

Very well done. Excellent movie. Had no idea what to expect as I did not know the story line. Worth the watch.

For young boys with some interest in mechanical engineering, perhaps; not for me. (I note appearance of Sacha Baron Cohen as a policeman with a dog; what sort of accent is he pretending to have, German? German policeman in Paris?) In any case, not my cup of tea, that is for sure.
