It does have some likable qualities, but the film is too demented and without purpose to really be considered solid. It was alright for what it was, but I don't really recommend it if you aren't a horror fan. Go straight to the far superior 'The Devil's Rejects'.

I liked it up until a certain point, then I got a bit bored. The psychadelic aspect goes a bit far.

This movie is truly sick, and not in a good way.
I've never walked out of a horror film, but this guy seriously needs his head examined.
The only horror here is the horror of the incredibly twisted mind of Rob Zombie. If you find rape and torture fun to watch, this one's for you, sicko!

saw this at the cinema when it came out...what a waste of cash that was. Major flaws abound in this below par flick. You never care what happens to the characters, its just...oh look another one bites the dust /yawn.. there is no point to this at all and you'll be wishing you didn't press play.

After all the hype I heard about this movie, I found myself highly disappointed. It is such a pity too, because at the start it had all the elements to make an original and exciting horror classic. Unfortunately it ends up being a second rate Texas Chainsaw Massacre rip-off and the ending was awful.

While it does have some special effects, it is good to see a movie that does not rely on them - serious character, guts and soul. Definately not for the weak minded.

Only really worth watching if you are a hardcore Gore or/and Rob Zombie fan. Personally I found this a tad boring. I recommend the second movie though, 'The devil's rejects' outshines this by miles.

Rob Zombie did his best with this movie. It had a weak premise all the way though. The only thing I know for sure is some people (like me) hated it and lots of people LOVE it. You will have to see it to see which you are.

This movie was sooo bad, it was good! Pure brainless entertainment and sooo predictable the viewer knew the victims were going to meet a horrible end before the victims themselves knew. Plenty of gore galore!
