A poor man's version of Seven that has a few decent moments but is ultimately let down by a silly as hell ending.

WOW, not what is expected by the name.Did not know any of the actors, but it did not appear to be a 2nd rate movie. Great acting by Dennis Quaid (know him)also the 2 others Ziyi Zhang and Paul Dooley were brilliant , but don't watch it with the kids any where near.Extremely violent and makes you worry about gen y. Watch it and you will know what I mean.

Average at best with some grusome acting. But Eric Balfour (24 and Haven), Peter Stormare and the always excellent Clifton Collins carry this film. No one else looks like they are trying.

I was more then prepared to get this a fair review after reading the bad press esp. Mykes review but alas on this film hes right in a few ways. From the great director of Transfomers its clear here that a thriller isnt his strongest suit at all. A Detective investergates the strange killings of strangers that may or may not be Bibical realted. The acting is horrible with Quid giving the best of the worst but even hes looking too old and tired for this kind of film. The direction tries for Seven but fails to undertsand the concept dancing around the subject till half way in and then gets more increasingly silly till the ending which takes the cake for the worst ending in a thriller with a cop out explanation. The person who compared to this Saw and Hellrasier must had been either paid to write lies or was simply drunk or bored and made a comparasion about the chains used in the film as both the films compared are way better then this garbage. Even those looking for gory fun will be disappointed as mosty its not shown and when it is its been done far better. A terrible film to aviod like the Plauge. Even the Charmed epp of Apolypse not had more action and even had the 4 horsemen in it so theres no excuse for this bargin basement trash.
