The attachment of humans to animals particularly to horses and dogs always tugs at my heart strings. I saw the horse as another human being in this film. The acting of the horse is great.

We really enjoyed this story. Not really a horse movie nor a love story but a bit of both. Very watchable.

Unfortunately read the book first so movie really disappointing! Too little of 'horsemanship' & seemed to focus on 'love affair' - even that not 'true' to original story line. Very 'watchable' & still tugged on heart strings, just felt it fell short of expectation.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I was howling my eyes out within the first 5 minutes but what a great story, great acting. Robert Redford was just wonderful. A few more tears before the movie ended but I would watch it again any day.

Fantastic scenery, which always redeems a thin storyline. A bit too sweet for my taste

Wonderful story dealing with the power of human love and loyalty we have for our special pets. But I don't agree with the ending, which for me spoilt the movie. She should have stayed.
