I'm not sure what made me put this movie in my queue, as I really didn't think much of the first movie, however this one was far better. There were a number of boring moments (albeit necessary for the story), but these were generally short. Some of the jokes could have been much better, but I'm thinking they're just to reach all audiences. The best laughs are from the troll and Hansel and Gretel. By far the best Hansel and Gretel I've ever seen - I wanted more of them in the movie. Overall, little character development as a result of having too many characters; it pleasantly avoided the typical love theme of animated films; laughs throughout with some aboslute hearty guffaws thrown in; fast paced; but missing some key plot points.

It was ok but not as good as the first one. Also not suitable for younger children (3yr olds) though as there are some scarey bits.

I enjoyed this as much as the first one - had several laugh-out-loud moments. Recommended if you liked the first movie :)

Whatever fun existed in the original is well and truly lost in lame follow up. The jokes all fall flat (there isn't even a micro-chuckle) and the computer graphics arn't even second rate, seriously looks like a student film or something. Avoid.
