A good movie what a good story it has can.t see way it can.t see way it dan.t get more stars I'll give it 5 stars case it is so funny
This movie was well done. Very funny and highly entertaining, have watched it many times.
Excellant kids movie. A good slant on Little Red Riding Hood.
it was not as good as hoodwinked two number two was better
This is a great movie. Can't understand why it didn't get decent reviews at the time.
it would of been good if we could watch all the movie as it stop not long into the movie and wouldn't move anymore.
Disappointed
You're sending us top movies and brand new, too. No scratches, no negativeness. Thank you team.
Can't believe this has only 2.5 rating, if kids were voting it would be 5.
This is a cleverly put together fairytale, you need to watch it twice to get all the overlaps, as its 4 characters views of the same story.
Special mentions.......the hillybilly goat and the squirrel.
Just so-so to OK....NOT great...Would easily please the kids on a rainy afternoon!!
a funny movie, whole family will this one
ROTFLOL @ evil bunny
This was ok - didn't really get into it too much. My 5 year old didn't really like it much.
Good fun but not particularly noteworthy. The kids loved it.
Clever story and quite funny in parts too. Enjoyed this one.
this was ok not as good as i thought it would be but the kids enjoyed it
A great animated flick for the young and young at heart! I found Hoodwinked to be a very clever and fun movie, but I'd say more aimed at kids than adults. Even so definitely worth a look...
Kids thought it was fantastic.
The kids liked it can be a little scary for young viewers a very different version of little red riding hood.
average - very poor mans attempt to copy shrek
The only funny bits in this movie are when the squirrel is involved. He is good.
Watching this was like watching paint dry - who do I see to get that 1.5hrs of my life back???
We took my 8 year old son, Marius, and twenty-five of his friends to see this for his birthday. Its a relatively low budget CGI animation, but tries hard to be quite sophisticated in concept and story. Perhaps a bit too sophisticated for its target audience. The over-riding comment from our group of seven and eight year olds was “weird”. Nonetheless, I think they enjoyed it. There were some very funny moments, from humour aimed both at the kids, as well as accompanying adults. Its a novel retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story as a Noir detective story from multiple perspectives, much like Akira Kurosawa in Rashomon. If you find this hard to imagine consider that it also includes elements of Manga style surrealism in the animation. You can begin to appreciate why kids may find it weird. I enjoyed it. Its not punching in the same category as Cars or Over The Hedge, but its fine for what it is and quite original.
When hubby put this movie on I thought oh no! Boy was I surprised. Witty humour and totally unexpected as I thought it was going to another put your fingers down your throat "sweet" kids movie. The family loves it but I think Mum & Dad like it even more.
Terrible plotting and even worse animation! Some sharp character quips but that's it! Just watch the trailer and save yourself the (mercifully short) 70 minutes run time.
For a family movie this is Sweet.
Haven't quite worked out if I liked this or not. You'll enjoy if you've got a warped sense of humour!
This movie ticks all the right boxes. It's clever, perhaps a shade too clever for its own good. Well made. But just lacking a special something.
What great entertainment. The animators, producers and director are to be congratulated on their wonderful imaginations because they delivered a show to be enjoyed by the entire family - including grandparents. It puts a whole new perspective on fairytales. Great variation in music to suit the scenes completed a very enjoyable watch. The characters were great - the snake in the band was a crackup with his unusual style with the tamborine. Also enjoyed the video clip of "Critters Have Feelings". There's a gammit of fairytales out there that could be adapted to the "what's the story behind the story" style. I'm sure/hope there will be sequels.
Not as funny like Shrek! Wouldn't bother!!
Definately not the best animated movie out today. Not even close
Good clean fun for the whole family. Animations very clever and story line interesting. My daughter watched it at school and wanted us to see it too!
There were some funny moments - but it felt like they were desperately trying to be another Shrek... which didn't quite happen.
If there were something more interesting on tv - I wouldn't bother with this.
It goes beneath the covers to get the real story behind red riding hood. The wolf was just doing his job granny is hiding a secrect, the ax man just plain weird. You need to watch it atleast twice so you don't miss any of the dialogue through laughter the first time round.
Brilliant animation, storyline and soundtrack....and it's suitable for both adults and children. One of the best animated films since Toy Story!! My five year old daughter was clued to the television like resin.
Great for families & gets adults & kids alike. I can't stand it when my 8 year old watches the same movie over & over but I watched it 3 times myself!
Absolutely hilarious. A whole new take on 'don't judge a book by its cover'.
funny twist on red riding hood story.
Hoodwinked - as in what has happened to you if you waste time watching this worthless piece of rubbish, Dreamworks try again.....
