This is a very violent movie, quite excessive, the story line is quite scary and the tension certainly does build, but three quarters the way through the film does a three sixty and completely throws you off balance, it ends in a really strange way, you're left with the feeling did I miss something or did the director have a total eclipse. This is a very different movie, keeps you on the edge of your seat, but watch with caution.

This movie is only dubbed in English so the voices sometimes don't match when the lips move. Overall it was an ok movie, pretty fake scenes though and a real twist at the end.

Great movie, I liked the ending too... if you watch carefully you will see that it all makes sense. Some people just don't understand it I guess. Hint: pay attention to the first 2 scenes or watch them over again if you don't get it.

I rented this one forgetting that I'd seen it before. It's a pretty good movie, but obviously not instantly recognizable! Still a good watch if you like your horror films!

I am a fan of foreign horror films and hold Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci's work in high regard but this film from France who has in the past made some brillant horror and action films has got me a bit divided on myself in regards of a review. Two best friends stay at one of the houses of ones parents in the middle of nowhere and this creepy man in a baseball cap comes and decides to have a killer party at their place. One of the teenagers survives while the other is kidnapped. The film has excellant acting, top notch gore that Hostel should have leaned further towards and real edge of seat situations but the ending has a twist that is not only silly but it also is confusing and illogical and it cheapens the film Hollywood style but in a bad way but until then its a worthy ride.
