I LOVE Ginnifer Goodwin and she is adorable in this film but the rest of it is peurile. I am sick and tired of Drew Barrymore and her totally fake lisp that is sending this weird vibe like "Look, I'm cute like a little girl but I have these enormous boobs so you guys lucked out" The film makes Scarlett Johansen look like an evil goldigger and Jennifer Connelly has the worst role of her career.

It helps to hear bad things about a movie, because then if you watch it, your expectations about it are very low. That can make the movie not as bad as you think it'll be. Works here. Justin Long is really good - think he's getting better all the time. Don't know if Bradley Cooper's bit really needed to be in there, but the rest isn't bad.

I must admit I didn't see the whole movie, probably missed a middle 20-30mins, but my partner said it was very much a chick-flick and found Jennifer Connolly as annoying as everyone else has said. Havign said that, she said it was easy to switch off and enjoy the movie. Excellent cast, which I assume was gathered by Drew Barrymore in her capacity as Executive Producer.

if you want some light entertainment and no thinking involved this is the movie. BUT
if you like to see some substance to your characters, this is not for you. the most gorgeous Scarlett is really unbearable in this movie. Maybe you need to read the book to connect with these people.. but surely us women should all be complaining about movies with this type of storeyline!?

It was a chick flick. But not a BAD one.
It was interesting to see Justin Long in this role, not like his other characters. Suprised at how little Drew Barrymore was actually in it. I wouldnt go out and buy it but if it were on tv i'd probably watch it again.

Ok, a little confusing trying to keep up with each storyline (a bit like Love Actually) but had me thinking about what we tell our Daughters of love and boys as they are growing up? Great line up of actors and I would recommend it but you, like me would want to watch it a second time for a better understanding.

I agree with most of the negative reviews. A basic chick flick that features a series of short stories about various relationships. I realise that was the main theme of the movie but it made the movie very shallow, we had to watch it twice to pick up the threads. With such a quality cast we expected better.

OMG this is possibly the WORST romantic comedy of modern times! What the?! The characters were completely unrealistic and often painful! We all rolled our eyes when Jennifer Connolly's character asked the contracter guy "are we good?". All three of us returned the same verdict - absolutely awful! And we were so looking forward to watching it. I am usually extremely forgiving when it comes to the romantic comedies - I can let cliche and corny slide in the name of fun- but this goes far beyond anything that I can stomach. We came so close in desperation to see the movie pick up pace and yet we couldn't force ourselves to watch it all the way through to the end. I don't know about the rest of you but we really just "weren't that into" this film!

It's easy to forget that sometimes chick flicks can be a guilty pleasure. Unlike Sex in The City and Love Actually annoying characters and indulgent dialogue is easy to overlook.

Fantastic movie but didn't quite live up to the hype. I loved the fact that the ending wasn't one of those 'disney style happy endings'.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Justin long were perfect for their roles. Not enough good things to be said about them in this movie.Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston were brilliant in the movie but I would have liked to see more of their characters stories. Jennifer Connelly and Bradley Cooper were pretty good in this movie too. A little disapointed with Bradley character though. I personally like Scralett Johansson but this movie wasn't her best. All other non mentioned actors were brilliant too.
All around good movie, just don't expect a barell of laughs. Maybe shouldn't be clasified as a comedy. Maybe a drama or romance??

Magnificent movie that had me watch it twice in way day looking for the secret I missed about a little yellow packet (shhh secret) and end of film. Was fabulous and witty and so true! No longer am I telling my 4 y.o. daughter that when the kinder boys are using bad actions that means they like her.... No no no, now I tell her they are just playing games and wasting fun time this way. Must see - great, hilarious and Bradley Cooper's butt is definetly worth dry hump comment!

I can't decide if I like it or not. I think 'Love Actually' covered this one already. It's not a bad production it's just that it'd be nice to see something completely new and original. I think I was watching it more for the "stars" that I like.

It's entertaining, but it's way too long. Ginnifer Goodwin is great, Jennifer Conelly well played, and there's not enough of Jennifer Aniston. But it could have been at least half an hour shorter than it's two hours.

Great movie, even better cast. Its got a real life ending, not a typical total happy ending. Loved it. Juston Long was amazing and you cant help but fall in love with Ben Afflecks character. There is a few heart wrenching scenes, and maybe even some too close to home. There is also a few good laughs. Goodwins character really epitomises female dating disasters and really makes you cringe. Overall very worthwhile. Even my man enjoyed it.
