Not the best Aussie movie. Very predictable script. OK if you want a feel good film.
Simply, a terrible movie. So full of cliches, horrendous script, unbelievable casting, just woeful. Don't waste your time on this one!
In all honesty I was only able to get through half of this movie. Everything wrong and cliched about Aussie films was in this movie. The villian project developers, the sexy girl who has hardly any dialogue but many screenshots, one dimensional characters and yobbo language.
Quite good. Nice to see Brisbane. Two and a half stars.
Horrible movie, boring scipt, unbelieveable actors, did I mention the boring script.
There were some really good scenes that showed potential for exploring characters in depth. A bit of borring from Sea Change mixed with brassed off which worked. The music was an attaction but more could have been played. It did hold its interest in terms of the story line.
Good Feel Type Movie for all the Family. Extras worth watching afterwards.
A wonderfl true story of how a son continurd his Fathers role leading the Brass Band, after dad was disabledl Very entertaining!
my 12yr old daughter enjoyed this movie but hated how it appeared like a 'powerpoint presentation' with pages turning on every scene change. The story line was reasonable, didn't really enjoy the presentation.
