Sam Wexlers not having a great day! Hungover and late for an important meeting with an editor at a major publishing house, Sam(Josh Radnor) watches helplessly as a young child gets separated from his family on the subway. Unable to locate the missing family, Sam takes the boy to his meeting (which surprise, surprise, doesnt go well!) and eventually, upon learning that hes just been placed in his seventh foster home, takes him back to his apartment. Then theres Sams best friends: Annie (Malin Ackerman), whos stricken with two ailments; an auto immune disorder which renders her hairless, and a taste in men who confirm her worst fears about herself, and Charlie (Pablo Schrieber) and Mary Catherine (Zoe Kazan), a loving couple who are arguing about whether to move from New York to Los Angeles (he wants to go, shed rather gouge her eyes out with a butter knife). And finally theres Mississippi Kate Mara), a singer who catches Sams eye, but fears he might be the latest in a long line of disastrous decisions shes made when it comes to romance. Funny, charming and delightful, happythankyoumoreplease is written and directed by Josh Radnor, the star of the acclaimed series HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

I thought this would probably be a fairly shallow but enjoyable movie. Very pleasantly surprised. Rarely do you see such honesty. Josh Radnor did a great job of directing and starring in this lovely little gem. Anyway, really enjoyed this.

What a wonderful film! Real life relationship dramas, hand-held camera, great acting, beautiful stories interwoven together. Some lovely writing in their too - the writer of this film, to you, kudos. 5 stars.

It's a bit slow but it's a good movie about characters who have their hearts in the right place but don't always go about things the normal way.

Not the greatest movie in the world, but I still loved it - a love story with some Hollywood happy endings, but quirky & quite clever, and all the actors are real flawed humans not plastic people. Can't pin down exactly what it is that I liked, but just did. I think it works.

"Ted Moseby" looked appealing with this rugged look but unfortunately I found the movie unappealing and terribly boring and had to stop it after 15 minutes or so; a thing I rarely do.

I should have switched it off when I saw "Ted Moseby". Kate Mara is the best thing in this film and she is underutilised.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.... I spent more time looking at the ceiling than watching the movie...The main character is just an idiot, you can't just keep any random kid that follows you!!! It's called kidnapping!! I liked all the actors, but did'nt like any of the characters they were playing...WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!
