In a contemporary re-imagining of the classic tale, Jack Black stars as Gulliver, a big-talking mail room clerk who, after he's mistakenly assigned a travel piece on the Bermuda Triangle, suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on the hidden island of Lilliput, home to a population of very tiny people. At first enslaved by the diminutive and industrious Liliputians, and later declared their hero, Gulliver comes to learn that it's how big you are on the inside that counts.

It was really funny, Jack Black is a fantastic character. It is great for families, you should see it. Jack Black does the acting very well. I thought it was a great movie, you HAVE to see it!

There are some movies that have enough remakes already. To then do a remake of such a movie that is as awful as this? Why? Heartless, tasteless, and Jack Black just can't stop shoving his pathetic Rocker persona into every film he does.

Another Jack Black movie so expect him to do what he does most - cool rocker dude. Predictable storyline loosely based on a childrens classic and contains moments of typical Jack Black humour that are quite funny. Certainly enjoyable and one for the entire family to watch.

I enjoyed this movie. I did not expect it to be as good as it is. I liked the story, even though I am familiar with it from my childhood, and it is sort of similar, what what I can remember.
Good acting by all, a few laughs and a good family movie.

The story of Gulliver, who tricks a travel editor, the woman of his dreams, into believing that he is a world traveller. He is given his first assignment to Bermuda, but ends up in Liliput, the land of the smal people. I bags not being the little man that Jack Black sits on. Some very funny moments and a great soundtrack. The family truly enjoyed this.

I had never seen Jack Black in a movie before--- If this is the standard he normally plays, I will be happy if I never see another one. Very disappointing. A few clever bits and a few funny bits but otherwise stupid.

A horribly bad movie, that of which Jack Black may just regret. His floppy fringed guitar playing fat man routine is starting to wear thin. Kids may find amusing, especially dim witted ones.

Just shocking. Can't wait for Jack Black to play a different character in a movie rather than just the cool-rocker-slob - getting a bit tiresome there JB. There is a chance that Jonathon Swift will come back as a zombie and find the makers of this film to wreak revenge. And I would be 100% behind him.

Much better than I expected, I am not a real Jack Black fan but i didn't mind him in this. A fun and entertaining version of this movie. Though slightly overdone towards the end......those Americano's can't help themselves.

Great family movie, Jack Black brings the laughs back to the screen as he does so well. Enjoyable and light with just a hint of romance and great special effects. A good movie for all.

Great for kids and adults. I had a few laughs. Jack Black is hilarious. We actually watched this twice, my daughter Emily and I, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Great special effects!

There were a few funny moment but I am one of those people who cannot stand Jack Black (other than when he is a Panda). Jason Segel (i love him!) is good and seeing Emily Blunt in something like this is very strange. Funny but sometimes very silly.... especially the ending .
