While sitting in on a NYU psychology class, Griffin meets Sarah Phoenix (Amanda Peet), a woman who will deeply affect his remaining days. With Phoenix as his side, Griffin experiences all the things he has always wanted to do like sneaking into movies, hopping railroad cars, and above all, falling deeply in love. When Phoenix reveals that she also is dying, they recognize together their relationship is a last chance for them both to discover all that life and love can be, however long there may be left.

Could have slipped into sentimentality, but some good acting and a tight, realistic script didn't let it. Just two people who meet at an important time of their lives.

A fairly cheesy movie. However, it was also quite moving watching two people love one another with abandon because they know their time is limited. Some good great shots of New York and some familiar sights around the Village that are fun to see.

A truly enjoyable movie. Chock full of humour, romance, pathos, drama, tragedy and happiness. Definitely a Kleenex movie. Both main actors did justice to their roles

Divorced dad finds that he has a limited time to live and meets a single woman in the same predicament. Entertaining enough, not too soppy, well balanced considering it can only end one way.

What a beautiful movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Was not all doom and gloom relating to death as would be expected, but rather showed how much love two people can have for each other and how they can live life to the full regardless. A must see.
