Wow, see review below mine - I couldn't agree more! I fell asleep after 10 mins, my husband and 14 yr old son persevered - said it was very weird (husband definitely not amused by it). Another bizarre Aussie dud movie ...

Selected this as a family movie. Didn't amuse my two boys. Very low key weird movie about a couple of people who both seem to be on the ASD spectrum - don't fit in and have fantasy lives as superheros. No laughs, no action that I can recall (I drifted off to sleep before halfway through).

Sweet and interesting. And I never know what would happen next. The story goes- imagination verses real life till both came together in the end. I loved it !

Aussie movie... enough said. Bad acting, bad lighting, bad stunts. I can't comment on the story though as I couldn't get past the first 10 mins.

Phil's right... it's definitely NOT like "Kick Ass". More a "Malcolm" clone. Not meaning to be rude, but why is there such a large proportion of Australian movies about either mentally-challenged or gay people?

What a strange movie!!!!! I don't know if I liked it or not..... I agree that it was certainly "quirky" & "different" In the main, the acting was second rate, Ryan Kwanten did a reasonable job playing the dorky Griff and I was very impressed in Maeve Dermody as Melody, she was brilliant, in particular her facial expressions, but in the main it was a movie you watched from the outside looking in, you were never actually involved in the plot, but it was very clever at the same time, even if I didn't understand some of what was happening it until later in the plot. I don't know whether to give it a 1 or 3 stars.

Aussie flick which I stopped after 5 minutes. It says like Kick Ass! What a joke. This is more like a very cheap batman.

Quirky, but amusing. The girls will like it (because it's a love story). Strange ending.

Outstandingly poor movie; I don't turn off many movies before 30 minutes of watching but this pile of rubbish was unbearable.

What a strange little movie! I think it is the first Australian made movie that I have seen that has a super hero in it. It is certainly quirky, different, but sweet at the same time. This is a highly original movie that was obviously made on a low budget. Leon Ford is a writer/director to watch. Give the man some more money and there is no telling what he could produce. Recommended, I would probably only give it 3 1/2 star, but because it is Australian I gave it a slightly higher rating.

Not bad, obviously Aussie done, but slightly different, an OK one for when nothing else around to watch. You got to believe in sort of supernatural talents to want to watch it though.

I enjoyed this film. I didn't know what to expect. It was fresh, lively and funny. Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) played the dorky Griff . Maeve Dermody as Melody was brilliant. It had a true, unmistakable Australian film.

Spot on casting; sympatico enhancing camerawork; a bit of a jigsaw, but what fun to play.

Is it a drama? Is it a comedy? I wasn't sure. I'm really not a fan of movies like this - movies that are rarely funny but are not really dramatic. Its pace is a bit too slow for my liking. Its concept is original though - the delusional superhero. Not very well executed though. I was actually quite disappointed by the film's revelation that Griif is not mentally stable. I would not recommend this film to someone who, like myself, is in generation Y and is used to more quicker-paced films.

I guess there are probably a lot of guys and girls who can relate to this movie... who doesn't want to be a hero? Most of us just don't get the opportunity. It was an interesting take on the superhero genre and as much as I like the superhero movies I always enjoys movies that are realistic too. Good Australian movie!

Started well and then just died off into round and round monotony. Ryan Kwanten is a honey which is probably the only reason why I watched so long

Although a little clunky, a sweet message emerges, especially for those who enjoy imagination and the impossible :)

Gorgeous, intellifent, witty take on the superhero genre. All with Ryan Kwanten at the helm. Well acted and a joy to watch. Quirky and all the best Australian.. Borrow it everyone

A little slow, but it had meaning. I enjoyed watching Ryan Kwanten. If he wasn't in it and someone I didn't know was, then I probably would have not enjoyed it.

Something different and a movie that defies description. It's all sorts of genres, with fantasy coming closest, yet it's a lot more than that. Good effort for an Aussie film.

I'm really uncomfortable with delusional people (maybe a little jealous too) so I had a little trouble watching this. In the end I enjoyed it, but its not a movie I would recommend to anyone. 2.5 stars

A really different movie from Oz. Beautifully done, intelligent and very subtle. I was waiting for the ultimate revenge that the office bully would normally have copped in an American movie of this genre but it was brilliantly handled and left up to you to conclude the outcome once the office girls (sisterhood) realised what had happened. Small touches like that kept it all real, and push home the message that we are all different.
