excellent. Sure, humans are cutting down the Amazon Rain Forest, causing devastating climate change, so they can "go green" with BioFuels. But the idea we should be carbon taxed is just a big money-stealing scam. The Global Warming panic is a political tool to scare people into accepting global Communism - the ability of a small ruling? elite to seize our assets and redistribute them as they see fit.

You've bought the Al Gore Bull, the Kevin Rudd spin and the whole climate change story ........ hang on why? Watch this short documentary and start asking questions. All this does is point out there may be some hidden agendas driving the climate change promoters. Why listen to Al Gore whose household uses more power than a fair sized town or Kevin Rudd who is using climate change as the trigger for a multi billion dollar new tax. Well worth a look

Definately worth looking at, it does make me wonder that there might be some merrit as to what is being said in this dvd, after all it was only 30 years ago that scientists were claiming the world was heading towards another ice age.

Worth a look, probably best served after watching "An Inconvenient Truth". Best to take both documentaries with a dose of skeptism, you won't find much balance in either of them.

I did not like the science.

An insidious and dangerous piece of populist claptrap. Might as well have been released by the flat earth society. Thousands of the world's most eminent scientists and climatologists, appointed by the world's governments, to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) recently concluded that Global Warming as a result of human activity is real beyond doubt and is the SINGLE BIGGEST THREAT TO HUMAN LIFE ON THIS PLANET. Now with a few tame pseudo - scientists, misquotes and outright reactionary nutjobs, these backward looking right wing filmmakers have done the intellectual equivalent of sticking their fingers in their ears and chanting, "la la la, not listening". Watch it, only to understand the dangerous agenda being pushed by the religious right. I first saw this in my home town where it was being pushed by Lyndon La Rouche's political dupes who believe the earth's population can expand infinitely because God loves humans and will look after us. It is full of lies and misrepresentations of the facts. Look out for the bit where a poorly designed and maintained solar system in a remote African hospital is held up as proof of the uselessness and futility of all renewable energy generation. Outright lies. Damaging and hampering any forward looking, progressive solutions to the real problem of climate change is no use to anyone. Approach the issue with an open mind, yes - 3 or 4 individuals with dubious credentials propped up by the fundamentalist Christian movement do not carry any credibility by comparison with 1700 of the world's foremost scientific experts representing every country on earth.

I rented this hoping to see a good presentation of the opposite side of the coin to 'An Inconvenient Truth'. What I got was a boring load of dribble, that was painful to even sit through the 60 min main feature let alone any of the extras. They make a couple of worthwhile points but keep referring to historical data that is never presented. Maybe the climate changes are just a natural cycle but it could have been presented better.

Reviewers should do some research honestly. This documentary was originally 82 mins long when aired in the UK (have seen the original), the ABC cut it back to 60 mins to "fit fit its programming format" editing out some significant analysis. Of course we all know ABC is free of bias. This film has not been discredited by independent climate scientists who, as science should - review the data in an unbiased way. There is an agenda being pushed here - the global warming cheer squad say there is a consensus of scientists that man is causing GW. Science is not consensus it is either proven or not, based on testing empirical data. This is further proved by the "re-stating" (correcting an error)by NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre in July that their data showing that the 1990's was the hottest decade on record was incorrect. The re-stated data shows that the 1930's were actually the hottest decade on record and that average global temperatures have actually fallen since 1998. Go to their web site to verify for yourself. This "inconvenient truth" is not being received that well by ALGORE who based a large part of the premise of his movie on the NASA data, and has not been reported widely by the main stream media as it does not tell the story they have been pushing. People, look at this topic with an open mind, evaluate the scientific data from both sides then form an educated opinion. Why are the zealots trying so hard to discredit any counter point if they are so certain of their hypothesis ? The ABC today had a report of warming on Mars of a similar proportion to that being experienced on earth. We only have 2 SUV's on Mars and no people. Could this warming be caused by the high sunspot activity measured over the last decade ? This is covered in this documentary.

I saw this on the ABC, followed by a critical analysis of the science in the film which pointed out several gross inaccuracies and hugely deceptive claims made in the film and its so-called 'experts'. It's interesting (and persuasive!) to see the opposing side of the argument on global warming, but if you do some research on the film, you'll find it's been widely discredited.
