Before The Fast and The Furious there was an even faster action movie - Gone In 60 Seconds. Nicholas Cage, (a mute) Vinnie Jones, Scott Caan, (a blonde dreadlocked) Angelina Jolie and Robert Duvall give this movie enough torque to drive you across Australia in 60 seconds!!! There's speed, action and an unbelievably sexy 1967 Mustang GT 500. 120 minute of non-stop action.

after 60 seconds i new it was going to be awful. unrealistic story just to get some car chases, waist of time.
jolie did look terrible.

Below average flick of its genre. Nothing much happens until two-thirds into the movie and even then it is predictable and felt very "been there and done that". Angelina Jolie looked awful with those cheap bleached locks and ofrten thought that Nicholas Cage may have been reading a different script to the rest of the cast. I cannot understand why Cage and Jolie bothered with this one. It's a stinker.

A car heist movie that lacks tension and excitement. The chase scenes are fairly routine and the villian (played by Christopher Eccleston) lacks any real menace. Cage is good as usual but the rest is pretty humdrum. Maybe worth seeing for Jolie's blond locks.

Great Action movie with a great cast, Cage and Jolie are good as the car thieves that are reluctantly drawn back into the world of big time car stealing. Watch if your into Fast cars and fast action.
