Mild supernatural themes and violence

Director: Jon Jones
Actors: Richard Coyle, David Suchet, Claire Foy, Andrew Sachs, Charles Dance, Steve Pemberton

A lavish adaptation of Terry Pratchett's hugely popular Going Postal novel. The charming but condemned arch-swindler Moist von Lipwig finds himself with a noose around his neck and dropping through a trapdoor into...a government job. By all rights, Moist should be meeting his maker rather than being offered a position as Postmaster by Lord Vetinari, supreme ruler of Ankh-Morpork. An adventure story filled with romance and revenge.

I love the Disc-world books. This movie is as good an interpretation of the Going Postal book as you could reasonable get. I was very impressed., although I think you would miss a fair bit of the detail if you were not familiar with the Disc-world books.
