An exciting if not quite satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, resting yet again on the shoulders of Noomi Rapace. She is 'vulnerable' in two scenes only - where she wants and needs to say 'thank you' and can't.

i missed the second movie of this trilogy .... (hopefuly next week !!) but an excellent movie in it s own right... Very realistic excellent acting ... great story line, plenty twists and turns It is in Swedish with subtitles which adds to the realism of the story! After I want to see them all at once so I can appreciate all the details I have missed !!! a good length (147min)

I think this is solid cinema. I am not hugely excited about it, but I think its solid (appropriately well made) cinema. Noomi Rapace does the job and so does MIchael Nyqvist. The Daniel Craig effort was more glamourous but these movies tell the story. 3.5/5

I really enjoyed the Swedish trilogy of the Larsson books about Lisbeth Salander. Fast paced and true to the story line. Very easy to keep up with the subtitles, doesn't slow you down. Just sorry there are only three!!

Really liked the actress Noomi Rapace in the role of Lizbeth Salander, far better than the American actress in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (US). I think Rapace's role really sells the Swedish trilogy of the films. However, I did find that I was disappointed with what was actually in the film, or rather not in it. In the novel, I found that the most entertaining aspect was Salander's interaction with her contacts in Hacker Nation. Only the character of Plague was included in the film and in a very minor role. I also felt that Erika Burger was not portrayed as the strong, capable woman that she so typified in the novel, particularly in the last novel. I realise that the film would have been a lot longer to include more about Berger and Hacker Nation, but I feel the film suffered as a result, hense I feel that this film was more along the lines of an 'account' of the novel, and lacking in some key areas. Still, it was worth seeing.

This followed on from "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" although with completely different actors. AND IS SUBTITLED. Definately ADULTS ONLY. It was SBS style and the whole plot and dialogue quite difficult to follow ... one of those movie that, if you watched it again would be a lot clearer. The book was probably a heck of a lot better than the movie.

This is the third in this fantastic series - if possible watch the first two before you see this. This movie wraps up the story. Noomi Rapace is brilliant. Note that this is the Swedish subtitled version - in the author's own language!

I haven't read the book this time, so I can't compare it with the movie. I was not nearly as impressed by this as the other two in the series. It was a bit all over the place. Lots of action again, but although the story was still clear I found myself totally uninterested in what was going on at Millenium and in the people that worked there. I found Erika and Michael quite wooden, not sure whether that was the screenplay or their acting. Anyway it was a disappointing climax for me. The first i the series "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" was far more engaging.

Fabulous. Neither this or the Girl Who Played With Fire were as good as the first one as there was a different director and it strayed a bit too much from the book but Noomi Rapace was terrific in all of them.

After reading the trilogy, I was not convinced that the movies would do justice to the author, but I was very wrong. This trilogy of movies was true to the novels, and extremely gripping. The choice of actors was amazing, just what I'd pictured while reading the books. The death of Lars Steiger is a terrible loss to the literary world.

Despite finding this movie a little hard to follow initially (too many old dudes who all looked similar), even though we've watched the previous two movies, we still really enjoyed the suspense of TGWKTHN and trying to guess where it was going and what the ending might be. Noomi Rapace is excellent as always, she is the master (mistress!) of self control and self-containment, not to mention the staredown, I find the character Lisbeth Salander fascinating! Nowhere near as much action as the previous movies and lacking the punch of the first movie, it is still rivetting viewing. Cannot believe people won't watch a sub-titled movie, I love movies from other cultures!

If you've not seen the third part of this great trilogy or the other two for that matter, watch them! Mark my words, they will become cult classics, and the sad thing is Stieg Larsson will never know the success of his stories, as he died before the books were even published. (Lucky his partner who was a big contributor to the them is still around).

The weakest of the three movies. Too much time is spent going over previous events and when it does move on, it's to overly complex and confusing meetings of conspirators and a drawn-out court case, Nonetheless it makes for a compelling conclusion to the trilogy.
