Inspired by Kenny Rogers' Grammy Award-winning song The Gambler, The Adventure Continues re-teams the eponymous card-sharp Brady Hawkes (Kenny Rogers) with gung-ho partner Billy Montana (Bruce Boxleitner, Tron:Legacy) for another high-stakes western adventure.
Billy, Brady and his son Jeremiah travel by train, bound for a large gambling event to be held in San Francisco. But before they can settle in for the long journey ahead, the train is held up by the notorious McCourt Gang, who take young Jeremiah hostage, demanding a million dollar ransom. Forced to think quickly and act fast, Brady must play the cards dealt to him and assembles a formidable posse to help liberate his son, including Kate Muldoon (Linda Evans), who happens to be the fastest female gun in the west.
