Medium Level violence

Director: Dean Parisot
Actors: Sigourney Weaver, Tim Allen, Tony Shalhoub, Alan Rickman, Sam Rockwell, Daryl Mitchell

For four years the courageous crew of the NSEA Protector - "Commander Peter Quincy Taggart" (TIM ALLEN), "Lt. Tawny Madison" (SIGOURNEY WEAVER) and "Dr. Lazarus" (ALAN RICKMAN) - set off on thrilling and often dangerous missions in space...and then their series was cancelled!
Now, twenty years later, aliens under attack have mistaken the Galaxy Quest television transmissions for "historical documents" and beamed up the crew of has-been actors to save the universe. With no script, no director and no clue, the actors must turn in the performances of their lives in this hilarious adventure Jeffrey Lyons (NBC-TV) calls "The funniest, wittiest comedy of the year".

Galaxy quest is a very enjoyable movie, but more than that, it teaches us that when we are pushed to do something, even something out there from our comfort zone, we can meet the challenge and conquer it if we truly want too. It also teaches us that you shouldn't treat people badly cause those of the people you might need someday and you want them to want to help if you need them.

Great fun for the whole family. My 8 year loved it too. A feel good movie. Clever storyline, great gags and a hoot.

A terrific spoof on Star Trek and other sci fis of that ilk. A bunch of failed actors save the world - great plotline!

I loved this tongue and cheek sci-fi spoof! If you need to laugh your self silly, this is the movie for you. An absolute stellar cast...made it even more fun to watch.
