Director: Adam Green
Actors: Emma Bell, Shawn Ashmore, Kevin Zegers, Ed Ackerman, Rileah Vanderbilt, Kane Hodder, Adam Johnson

A typical day on the slopes turns into a chilling nightmare for three snowboarders (Kevin Zegers, Shawn Ashmore, and Emma Bell) when they get stranded on the chairlift before their last run. As the ski patrol switches off the night lights, they realize with growing panic that they've been left behind dangling high off the round with no way down. With the resort closed until the following weekend and frostbite and hypothermia already setting in, the trio is forced to take desperate measures to escape off the mountain before they freeze to death. Once they make their move, they discover with horror that they have much more to fear than just the frigid cold. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this one. having been up on a ski chairlift many times I found myself thinking 'what would I do'. A good film, not spoiled by the usual cheesy ending

I have to admit that loved this movie. Its not super intelligent, but for those of us who ski - who hasn't thought about what you would do if you were stuck in a chair!

Worst movie ever! I can't believe it was actually made, and that people were paid to act in it!

A brilliant film and def will make one think twice before pushing their luck twice on a free chair lift. Well acted and quite suspenseful with the best hand damage since Alien versus preditor in one scene. Quite gory in places when the viewer least expects it and a decent ending.

3 guys stucked on a chair. When it starts I sigh so bad the dialogue and the actors were then it got better when they got stuck. Unfortunately the dialogues remained terrible and the acting was dreadful. The rest of this flick was very improbable. I was shocked this has been compared to Jaws. It's not worth Open Water 1 or 2. A very low budget to avoid!

Quite a few 'ouchie' and 'cringe' worthy moments in this film. Not for the squeamish. Certainly not as good as other 'what would you do in this situation' type films (think Saw - the original one) but I enjoyed yelling at the TV for their clear rampant stupidity. So enjoyable for me : )

A movie with an unpredictable story line. Hanging on the edge of your seat kind of movie. Not for faint hearted as it has unexpected gory scenes but overall a good movie.

The concept is brilliant. Three friends are left abandoned on a chairlift in freezing conditions. The execution leaves a lot to be desired. Yes I felt for them and certainly I asked myself 'What would I do' but ultimately these particular actors just weren't up to the task. In other actors hands this could have been better. There is a gross and awful moment of the film however that still freaks me out when I think of it. Don't rent if you're at all twitchy about being trapped.

This movie left me cold. With better actors and a much better script maybe I would have cared what happened to them stuck on the chairlift. I did the housework whilst watching this...it didn't hold my interest.

A very thrilling film with great performances from the cast. Proof that good films can be made from small budgets and that horror/thrillers don't need special effects wizardry to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Big budget doesnt always necessarily mean big entertainment. This is a true gem of a thriller. There is no limit to what desperation in real life can lead to and its depicted perfectly in this film.

Frozen is not for the faint hearted or those who like to snowboard or ski in Canada or the United States. I could not watch the whole movie. It was too horiffic for me but my husband was entralled. He recommended this movie to friends. He likes a bit of blood and guts and this movie certainly gives it.

Three young people are off skiing, when their bargining with the chair lift operator and some miscommunication between change over staff sees these three left stranded, they weigh up their options after realising what has happened, some of their choices are very fatal mistakes. Some very real life pain and sacrifice between friends, only one makes it out alive. Well work watching all the bonus features afterwards to see the extreme lenghts the producers and film crew went through to make this movie.

If you board or ski DONT - REALLY DONT !!! This film is ridiculous - Char"act"ors are too stupid to put hands in pockets and cant zip up their jackets. The Plot is a joke. We laughed our way through the crap story ! Before you press PLAY clean your room, iron a shirt or cut your toe nails again. Let me know if these actors appear anywhere ever ... I hope the Cast and crew making this film got good snow - That is the only good to come of this Film...A Bear Grills episode has more realistic script !!!

Pretty predictable plot really; altho it did surprise me that someone actually lived! Perhaps 14 year olds would like the simplicity. Don't really enjoy things that I could have written... if I could've been bothered.

Not bad. Those who said that this was the 'worst movie ever' obviously haven't seen many movies and are in no position to talk. It is an okay thriller. If you're a girl you'll get the bonus of the 2 gorgeous Canadian guys to drool over (Kevin Zegers and Shawn Ashmore).

Divided on this one! Great idea and most of it done well. Dragged a bit during the middle and was disappointed that more things weren't tied up at the end, would have liked to have seen more of the repercussions of what happened with all involved. 2.5

I really enjoyed this, it's not your usual scary/horror film and does well for it. Overall: Better than average, though could have used a little more pacing in the middle of the film, pretty decent acting as well.

A total waste of 90 minutes. Think Open Water rip off on a ski chair...with lousy acting, toe curling script, implausible plot and a total let-down of an ending. How this crap gets made is beyond belief.

Interesting concept, and compelling viewing as you want to find out how or if they survive. The action doesn't start until about half an hour into the movie, as the first bit is getting to know the characters. This first part was a bit boring and mediocre, but the rest was good. Although there's some gore, it is not much, the focus is mostly on how these characters react to the situation they're in as they try and figire out ways of getting down safely. 3 1/2 starts for this one. P.S - Worth watching the behind the scenes, I had to to try and make what happened seem less real so I could sleep!
