Visually fun, interesting cast (especially the main dude), but ultimately a bit underwhelming

Load of absolute rubbish but fun and excellent for its genre. Colin Farrell and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are surprisingly "spooky' with the vampire make-up and play the parts well. As the other Brian says: "David Tennant" steals every scene "if you're naked, I promise to look".

Excellent remake with excellent acting. Wasn't sure it would be better than the original and won't say it is. It is different with new things that makes the film as entertaining as the original. Not to miss for fans of vampire movies other than Twilight soap.

A lot of fun but a many scenes are, naturally, filmed in the dark. This IS a vampire movie, after all. So it can be very hard to see the action on a home TV. Colin Farrell has a lot of fun as the evil vampire-next-door, Jerry. The show, though, is stolen by David Tennant, brilliant as a Vegas conjurer/magician who holds the key to defeating the vampire mob.
