A comedy about getting dumped and taking it like a man. When his girlfriend of 5 years leaves him, Peter (Jason Segel) heads to Hawaii for a break however is shocked to find his ex is holidaying at the same hotel with her new rock star boyfriend. From the producers of The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked up comes a comic look at one guy's quest to grow up and get over the heartbreak of being dumped - if only he can start Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Gave up after 10 minutes. Gratuitous nudity, sexual references and swearing and nothing funny about it at all. Maybe it gets better later but the start was too awful to continue trying any longer.

Don't go in thinking this movie is hilarious because it will disappoint. It has its moments but in the end its just a movie about a love sick guy that is dumped by his famous and self-involved girlfriend and you get to a point where you think well who cares.
Seth Rogen is weird in this movie. I don't even know why he is famous. I haven't found him enjoyable in any movie I've seen him in. He's the poster child for fat, untalented children everywhere that one day you too could be overrated and overpaid.

Ordinary movie saved by some beautiful Hawaiian scenery. Russell Brand is the stand out in this one and makes the rest of the cast seem second rate. There is one or two funny scenes but the watching the rest is like trying to stay awake after taking a sleeping pill.

I find Jason Segel funny in How I Met your Mother. In Forgetting Sarah Marshall, he isn't. Somehow, he thinks that strong sexual references and gratuitious nudity will do the trick. It didn't.

I was surprised to laugh out loud as much as I did. Well written - much funnier than your standard romantic-comedy. Interesting characters and the use of music throughout was well done - both shocking and amusing!

This was much better than expected. Very dialogue-heavy (part of its charm). The Sarah Marshall character is purposely horrible and Russell Brand is obnoxious in a laugh out loud way and it's a relief when Peter ends up with the nice girl. The bonus bits are definitely worth watching. This is laugh out loud funny.

I wasn't expecting much of this movie..thought it might be a bit lame like Couples Retreat so was pleasantly surprised when I found myself laughing out loud on more than a few occasions. Kudos to the main male character for the full frontal nudity...very brave man!

Quite funny in places but NOT a DVD to watch with your 80 year-old mother, as I just did! Even without her being there, I would've found the constant and extremely overt sex references and scenes uncomfortable. As a romantic comedy, it was a good script, but I actually believe it would've stood up better without someone mentioning genitalia or portraying graphic sexual acts every few seconds. I'm impressed with Jason Segel's musical abilities and I would be interested to see another film written by him that didn't rely so heavily on sex to get laughs.

What a load of rubbish. My husband and I didn't get past 10 minutes before we turned it off. Gratuitous swearing and sex scenes that really didn't add to the storyline. If you enjoy vulgar humour as opposed to clever and witty then you'll probably enjoy it. But not my cup of tea.

I thought this movie was dreadful! I could barely raise a single laugh the entire way through it - it dragged, was uninteresting, not funny and silly. It was also dead easy to see how it was going to finish so I would suggest you don't bother - it will only waste your time. Was surprised to see other favourable reviews as this is one of the most boring films I have ever watched. Funny? I don't think so - just silly!!

I want to give it three and a half stars but can't seem to do half points.
For a rom-com it is a cut above. Jason Segal is a very likeable male lead and there are genuine laugh out loud funny moments. But it deserves a special mention for Russell Brand and for the male nudity!
A good one for Hawaii lovers too - it is filmed on Turtle Bay Resort.

This was a comedy? I cannot understand the excellent reviews that this is receiving on your website. This was a "comedy" that did not deliver one laugh. The situations were unamusing, the actors were all pretty weak- even Hawaii didn't look good.
This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
If I could have given minus stars I would have.

I absolutely LOVE Jason Segal and Russell Brand so maybe I'm bias but this is DEFINATELY A MUST SEE movie!!!!!! Funny from the very beginning (and shocking lol) and funny to the very end!!! My favourite part is the 'surfing accident'!!! So watch out for that moment. :) One of my top 5 fave movies of all time!!!!

Russell Brand is fantastic as the main character, but Mila Kunis (from That 70's Show) is susprisingly AMAZING and standouts from the rest of the cast...
There are many funny moments, and great one - liners. However, the storyline gets a little lost in the middle, but then comes back again.

Classic, classic comedy! This is a brilliant story once again, crammed full of laughs. The eccentricity of Russell Brand adds depth to the humore, Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis add more than ample eye candy, and it left me with a feelgood happy vibe afterwards. Definitely one to add to the collection!

Some good laughs and you feel sorry for the guy. Has a predictable ending which is what we all wanted to see. The Dracula opera idea was a bit weird but was necessary to show his growth. Worth watching but it's not an out an out comedy.

Wonderful film, great screenplay. Mila Kunis stole the show for me... I had a misconception of her from watching "That 70s Show", but in this film she smoulders with sexiness and intelligence and shows true potential as an actress - it was mesmerising to watch how natural she was. A laugh a minute film, tasteful and elegant.
