When Cold is hired to deliver a mysterious package from France to Germany, some very dangerous people will stop at nothing to stop him. But, getting in his way is a decision they might not live to regret.
With exotic locations and blistering action from the star of classics like UNDER SIEGE, THE GLIMMER MAN and EXIT WOUNDS, THE FOREIGNER is ninety-minutes of heart-pounding entertainment that'll keep you on the edge of your seat.

Its amazing what Steven will do to broaden his viewing audience. Most people who view a Seagal film dont expect great acting nor a twisty confusing plot but rather see Steven kick butt and deliver his wisecracks. Bad acting accept for Jan Jurewicz, very little karate action and Seagal has a partner in this that has an annoying voice and cant deliver his wisecracks very well. But what got me really angry about this film was the romantiscing of one paraticular death becase the guy wore a flatcap!!! of all things and also the pointless cruelty of his death showing the guy in such a graphic manner where they didnt with all the others. Dont get me wrong I love a good horror film esp an italian one loaded with the crimson gold but they went WAY too far on that one. To me its screams "flatcap hatred" and since I am a flatcap lover it offended me to see good talent in front and behind the camera sticking a society message of "dont wear whats out of date" into a Seagal film. Shame on you Mr Seagal

Typical Steven Seagal movie. There's the first fight scene, some incidental plot to fill in the time, then the second fight scene, some more plot that takes up some film and some time and the third fight scene, and so on. Now that I have that off my chest, this movie (oddly enough for Steven Seagal) actually does contain some sort of a story. Not that I managed to follow it, it just seemed to get more obscure and odd the further I got into it. It may be worth watching for the die hard fans of Seagal and this action genre.

Poor script, good scenery, good cinematography. The characters are poorly motivated, the reasons they do what they do are incomprehensible. Weak excuses for the action sequences, which are reasonably filmed. Blond bad guy is the most interestging, everyone else is one dimensional

One of those not so typical of Steven Segal. The martial arts action was certainly not as great as his usual series. Quality of this particular movie is substandard.

Too much gratious violence in the manner of unnecssary, and graphic shooting. Weak plot;
