What a truly amazing film! An absolutely ridiculous premise brought to life through superb direction, top-drawer effects and a tour-de-force performance from the leads. Not for weak stomachs.

Absolute classic from the 80's - not the best by todays standards perhaps but still has some genuine gross, freak out moments. I loved it as a teenager and loved it again this time around.

This was a load of rubbish. I love a good horror and this is not one. Save your time & money and don't bother to watch this ever.

A classic movie, although a remake. Much more gorey..definately not for the ones with a weak stomach. A must if you have not seen it before!

Hmmm. Based on a short strory of all places originally in "Playboy". A bit too predictable but watch if you are bored.

Well acted but is a bit dated. Rubbery special effects.

A couple of "eighties moments" take this out of the timeless category though it's still a great Saturday nighter. If only to see Cronenberg pulling out all his best grotesquery and for Goldblum's excellent performance. Still probably his best and one that got him noticed at the time. The acrobatic sequence is worth the price of admission alone if you enjoy the sight of a very fit man on the parallel bar.
