We have seen this movie before, ages ago. Watched it anyway. Not a favourite one. Probably picked it because it had Julia Roberts in it.

Watched this years ago, and delighted to see that it hasn't dated terribly (except a couple of bad 80's hair moments!) and still a suspenseful, interesting film. All the actors in this pool together to make a credible exploration into death and although it is a little predictable, this film offers the viewer something to think about.

Dated? I don't think so! There are a lot of movies around that time that I'd find a little old, but not this one. I saw it for the first time a few years ago and it didn't feel like an old movie.

This is one weird film. Weird in a good way that is. It's dark, creepy, very well acted and the 'dead' scenes are very eerie. Schumacher has done a really good job at creating a chilling atmosphere from start to finish that just sticks with you. Some lines aren't meant to be crossed. I give it 4/5 stars.

One of my all-time favourites. I loved Oliver Platt in this. Not so scary now compared to all the trash on TV, but back then was very very scary. It still scares me. Sorry. I'm a teenager of the 80's. :-)

This is a fantatstic movie. Great cast. Terrific acting by all. Quite a spooky movie. 4 med students "die" to see what's on the "other side". They each bring back a hidden conscience of their past........

Classic 80s cast and a overall ground breaking story. Its about some students who want to find out if there really is life after death. They find out it all isn't as rosy as they would have hoped. They all go further and further into it not knowing the dangers

Supernatural thriller by a cast that would go on to bigger things. Dated a little by the avalanche of medical shows that came after still good to see Sutherland and co.

This supernatural thriller had a great cast but looks a little dated now. Like Duran Duran and the rubiks cube it's not as good as I remembered it.
