Super cheesy, dreadful acting by the two leads (but Max von Sydow is wonderful as evil emperor Ming). Just remember, this movie is intentionally tongue in cheek, and if you watch it in this spirit it is SO MUCH FUN! Hilarious costumes, psychadelic backgrounds, funny dialogue, fabulous Queen soundtrack. Highly entertaining.

Seeing it again removed some of the intrigue and memories as a kid. Music is great.

Had seen this one many years ago but by todays standards was well below par, the acting also lacked any substance but if you take it the way it was portrayed to be then you can get some of enjoyment out of it.

I remembered watching this one when I was a kid and I thought it was great at the time, especially the Queen soundtrack. This time I watched it and could not get into it much at all. Even though I listened to the soundtrack in surround sound this time, it just did not excite me like it did years ago. Maybe I was just in the wrong mood to watch it this time. It was still ok to watch however. Apart from the bad acting and the corny script but then it was based on the old comic books from the 30's or 40's so they had to handle the acting and the script that way to stay true to the story.

Dated but the costumes, sets, some of the acting and the backing by Queen make it worthy viewing.
