Andrew and Vicky McGee met while earning money as guinea pigs for an experiment at college. The experiment was shrouded in suspicion and mystery, and seemed to be related to psychic abilities. The two were married and had a daughter Charlie, who has the ability to start fires by merely thinking about it. Naturally, the government takes a great interest in Charlie, and operatives from the secret department known as "The Shop" want to quarrantine and study her.

Fairly weird supernatural tale, starring a very young Drew Barrymore. She was a very talented kid, but she’s working with an underdeveloped script here, with characters that are never fully explored and motives that are not always entirely clear. No Bonus Features included.

Another wonderful adaptation from a Stephen King story. this one features a very young Drew Barrymore and also a youngish Heather Locklear as her Mom. Its very well paced and you really care about the characters as well. Has a great story and lots of interesting characters, which is what Mr King is well known for.
