We couldn't last the distance. Jamal's role was great but Forrester's loose false teeth annoyed me too much. We probably missed a good movie but too bad. There'll be another one along in a minute.

Whilst this movie is reasonably good it is also annoyingly cliched and predictable. Things only liven up when Murray Abraham appears as the malicious professor.

Interesting. A bit slow. Felt like a bit of a formula...predictable. But likeable enough.

Don't why we haven't heard more about this one, wonderful story about a recluse and an all-round talented teenager from a struggling family in the Bronx.
