In an instant, Mark's big wave surfing career is in tatters and Richie is facing a jail term. But for these two friends, giving up is not an option. I accidentally got this out but still watched it and I was surprised. Was a brilliant documentary even for those not into surfing, fighting or the Bra boys. I found it interesting.

A good Australian doco along the lines of "Bra Boys". The leads aren't particularly savory - charges of assault and the aggressive macho culture of Maroubra Beach are at the fore. But the shots of the big wave surfing are genuinely awesome and it seems that Richie's more aggressive behaviour has been tempered (let's hope) by a good women. Despite the film's focus on Mark, the big wave rider and cage fighter Richie, perhaps the real star of this film is the other Bra Boy in the equation: Macario De Souza for whom the film is an impressive debut. If you like your docos and sport, this one will appeal.
