Fantastic Mr. Fox is visionary director Wes Anderson's first animated film, utilizing classic handmade stop motion techniques to tell the story of the best selling children's book by Roald Dahl. Mr. and Mrs. Fox (George Clooney and Meryl Streep) live an idyllic home life with their son Ash (Jason Schwartzman) and visiting young nephew Kristopherson (Eric Anderson). But after 12 years, the bucolic existence proves too much for Mr. Fox's wild animal instincts. Soon he slips back into his old ways as a sneaky chicken thief and in doing so, endangers not only his beloved family, but the whole animal community. Trapped underground and with not enough food to go around, the animals band together to fight against the evil Farmers - Boggis, Bunce and Bean - who are determined to capture the audacious, fantastic Mr. Fox at any cost.

This is a great movie, the animation was really cool and it was also really funny/witty. George Clooney is a really good fox, I really enjoyed this film.

Wes Anderson meets Roald Dahl in a cozy stop-animation world with George Clooney and Meryl Streep along for the ride (I didn't recognize Bill Murray as the Badger). Whimsical is one word for this and there are some great moments (and lots and lots of talk). Art design/set design is, of course, fantastic, and then the whole things is over in a flash. The wolf bit was my favorite.

just awesome, from the characters to the story and great acting from the voice actors and i love ash this was so funny because of him. this movie is funny and great detail and i love stop motion it really fits this movie.

A great family movie with clasic one-liners! The detail and style of the film (using models) is amazing. Watched it over and over and enjoyed it everytime.
