Fallacy is the doco/thriller film which was created from a documentary which became more than expected. Detective Steven Harvings was the head detective in the 1999 missing persons case that held a nation as an audience for two weeks. Josh Coplins (who was at the centre of the investigation), along with his partner Rachel Levin and her nephew Cole Levin went missing in 1999 and were never found…speculation at reasons and motives for the disappearance were at the time a talking point and later on became the most talked about topics in history. After the film, Detective Harvings for this interview was called by his former superiors on counts of leaking privileged information…but was cleared as his words were seen only as “opinion”.

Totally agree with the previous comment. Was expecting something engaging like a thriller should be like but all it delivered was a half-assed mockumentary with no direction and unconvincing characters to say the least. They lost my interest in the first 5 minutes. More like a student assignment.
